To keep your garments looking fresh and lasting longer, follow these simple ironing tips for woolen and cotton fabrics:

Woolen Clothes
Preparation:
Turn the garment inside out to prevent shine or damage.
Use a pressing cloth (a clean cotton cloth or towel) between the iron and the fabric to protect the fibers.
Ironing Temperature:
Set your iron to the wool or low-medium heat setting.
Avoid using steam unless the label recommends it. Excessive moisture can stretch or deform wool.
Technique:
Gently press the iron on the fabric without dragging it back and forth.
If steaming, hold the iron slightly above the fabric.
Aftercare:
Allow the garment to cool completely before hanging or folding to maintain its shape.

Cotton Clothes:
Preparation:
Dampen the fabric slightly with a spray bottle for smoother results.
Always check the garment label for any specific instructions.
Ironing Temperature:
Set your iron to the cotton or high heat setting.
Use steam to help remove stubborn creases effectively.
Technique:
Iron the fabric while it is still slightly damp for a crisp finish.
Use firm, even strokes and move with the weave of the fabric to avoid stretching.
Aftercare:
Hang or fold immediately after ironing to avoid wrinkles.

To maintain the beauty and longevity of your hand-knitted woolen garments, follow these care guidelines:

Hand-Knitted Woolen Clothes
Hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent.
Avoid wringing; gently press out excess water.
Lay flat to dry in its original shape, away from sunlight and heat.

Cotton clothes and other fabrics:
Wash inside out in cold water with a mild detergent.
Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle.
Air dry in shade; avoid tumble drying.
Iron inside out on low heat, avoiding direct contact with prints or embroidery.
Dry Clean Recommended: For handmade luxury and heavily embroidered garments, professional dry cleaning is the safest option to maintain their intricate details and fabric quality.
